Syndera Corporation Adds Marketing Veteran to Executive Team

Former Executive From Business Objects and Sybase Joins Operational Performance Management Solution Provider

REDWOOD CITY, CA - February 17, 2004 - Syndera Corporation, a leading provider of Operational Performance Management solutions for Global 2000 companies, today announced the addition of a new executive team member, expanding the company's expertise in enterprise software marketing. Perry Mizota joins Syndera as Vice President of Products and Marketing, where he will drive the company's market and product strategies, including product marketing, product management and marketing communications.

Perry has over sixteen years of experience in defining and marketing products in the enterprise software market. He played significant roles in helping three successful start-up companies - Sybase, Business Objects, and Sagent Technology - transition from privately held, start-up ventures to publicly traded companies. At Sagent, Perry joined the company at its inception and was the VP of Worldwide Marketing. Perry also served as VP of Marketing (the Americas) at Business Objects, and Director of Strategic Marketing at Sybase.
